There is a dearth of skilled professionals who understand how to efficiently complete behavioral diagnostics, especially the federally mandated Functional Behavior Assessment. My years of experience and training make that a skill I have. Further, programs that serve the more severely behaviorally challenged have diminished due to Federal and State mandates, while the ability to serve those youth in general education settings has not developed commensurately. Since I have worked in separate facilities for 33 years, I have seen only the students with the greatest needs and most challenging behaviors. This makes me uniquely qualified to consult with and guide others as they try to increase their skills and services.

Dr. Carson has already served as a consultant within the local schools within the Rise Learning Center, and has already assisted two school districts with setting up programs for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities as a paid consultant, he has a successful track record to use as reference.

Dr. Carson has conducted nearly 1000 such collaborative meetings in his career and in fact Behavior Mapping was his dissertation.

Dr. Carson has provided training to many groups on a wide variety of topics related to behavioral and emotional disabilities at the local and state level. Trainings at the state level were always highly rated by the participants.
